Feathers in your hair?!

Am I the only one who wants this?

I think they are so cute, of course, I need to get my hair colored & trimmed before I do anything that crazy. But it looks fun & super cute.

But I could be wrong on this one... sooo what do you think? Would You do this to your hair??

A break at last!

This past week, Josh & I finished finals finally! He had crazy hard O'chem & Immunology Finals, I had Gov, Health, Theatre, Math. So not fun! What is fun is that I almost have my degree!
So we have a week and a half break before Summer semester begins... Yes, we'll both be working but still no added school stress!

On Wednesday, My little brother (Cam) left on his mission to Richmond, Virginia. I have another brother on a mission right now in Dallas, TX and it's been so fun to send these two boys off, I'll miss them both dearly. But am excited for their experiences.

& It's finally Spring!I absolutely LOVE working in my yard!! Probably one of my favorite things to do in the whole wide world :)

So Josh & I have been doing the brick path, transporting my strawberries to a new & improved area. Cleaning up all dead and old leaves.
Pretty much just cleaning everything up for Spring
& Next week, we're looking at flowers... I am stoked!

I'm trying to upload the yard pictures from last summer, but my computer is being a stinker. Yay for Spring!!

H & M

Guess who's coming to Utah??

I could not be more excited about this!!

Whilst Studying..

So the other day, whilst studying for finals. I got thinking about when dating Josh...

I remember the first time I saw him, and I knew. I knew that I was going to with him forever.

Last conference Elder Richard G. Scott talked about "The Eternal Blessings of Marriage" & I hope everyone reads it again.

It is such a great reminder.

I love how sincere he speaks of his wife. & how she is so gentle, supportive and loving.

I love this story. & I am excited for what is in store for us.

Toms

One of these Days, I plan on purchasing this Darling little number...

Pink. Sparkly. Dreamy. You simply can't go wrong with that combination!

Maybe one day :)

Leggings

i am in love with Leggings!
I swear I wear them with just about Everything!
They are comfy, cute, fitting, & they can make outfits modest too!

I wear them with...
-Cardigans
-Long shirts
-Mini skirts
-Shorter dresses

And I add...
-Flip flops
-Toms
-Heels
-Flats

I know leggings have kind of been a trend for quite some time, but I remember my mom used to talk about how she wore leggings growing up & I couldn't bring myself to purchase one :)
But I decided to just buy one, and I love them!
My mom was so right!
...I really wish the big hair trend will come back, now... :)

Spilled milk

Have you ever heard the term "don't cry over spilled milk?"

Well, today I cried over a lot more than spilled milk...
I cried over my lost sock, out of hairspray, & burning the chicken. :)

My sweet husband, He is so good to me. He makes me feel better about everything. He'll let me just cry on his shoulder if I need to, & I am so grateful he is my eternal companion.
He nicely asked me if these minor things were really that important. & of course, they weren't. Such a good reminder. It's ok to cry. But remember what is really important.

Today was just "one of those days" plus i haven't been feeling well. i wanted to curl up in my sweats with a blanket & read a good looonng book...

But it really is so nice to know that there is always tomorrow, & tomorrow will be better...
and It really will be, but here's to hoping today ends super duper soon!! :)

Tons of Tortillas

Lately, we have had lots and lots of tortillas.
There was a huge sale of them at wal-mart and we don't really eat them that much.
So we're eating tons of tortillas...
Here is what I've been making this week:

Tortillas for Breakfast:
Need: Torillas, Ham, Avacados, cilantro, salsa, cheese. Cut 'em up and throw it together!

Tortillas for Lunch:

Need: Tortillas, grilled chicken, chopped tomatoes, lettuce, celery, onions. Yummy w/ Ranch.

& Tortillas for Dinner

Need: Tortillas, salsa verde sauce, mozzarella cheese, shredded pork OR chicken, butter. :)

Yum! Yum! Yum! Tortillas, Tortillas, Tortillas!

Woman Plumber?

This last week, my father in law, who owns Told Plumbing, asked if I could help him do some minor plumbing in some units. Well for the past 2 weeks, I've worked each morning, and actually learning a lot!
I always thought that Plumbing was this hard concept, and it is. But I've learned some basics and it really is pretty fun.
What cracks me up... Each time I walk into a condo and the residents see me, almost every one of them say. A girl plumber?

On other notes, I heard back about both jobs I've applied too, and I didn't get either one of them. Man, it is just getting harder and harder to get a good part time job lately. Each one, I made the first interviews and went on to second interviews. One employer even said it came down to me and one other. Ugh.

On happier note, end of the semester is almost here!! 2 classes down, 1 to go. And after Fall Semester I will have my degree finally!

So to sum up my incredibly random post. Plumber, Jobs, School. :) I'll come up with funner things to write about soon.

Toxic

... and not like the Britney Spear's toxic

Josh & I went running in a Marathon last month in Moab. It was fun, except that the dusty wind was being blown straight in our faces while running. We were breathing in dirt, and dust with each step.
Well this dust and dirt settles in your lungs; Then the lining of lungs has these stretchy arm looking things (cyclia) (SP), push the dirt out, and it comes out the mouth by coughing.
Poor Josh has been coughing non stop for the past month. He's been taking cough depressants, cough drops. But it's just not going away.

It also doesn't help one bit that allergies are starting to kick up also. That added crap in the air just makes it that much harder.
So here's to hoping his cough disappears. & all the muck goes away!

Ear candles?

You say you've never heard of ear candles?

They clean out all the gunk and leaves your ears squeaky clean.
I know it's kinda gross, But you have to try these.
We love them!

You can buy them at GNC or any health store. They're not too pricey, but are so worth it!

Thank me later :)

A great big Shout out!

To my husband, Josh!

He has got 100% on his quiz. 100% on his last test!
I am amazed at how hard this guy works, he always puts his everything into school, and me. It blows me away how he does it all and is still so sweet & kind.

You are doing a great job!

I just adore you, Josh.

Spring Fever

I am so ready for lazy summer days, the sun and picnics!

No more snow, rain, & being cold.

Spring can't come soon enough!

Strangely Addicting

Recently, I've been intensely searching for my 2nd part time job. Hopefully with this job it will help make it less tight in our budget. It's also supposed to make up for cute baby clothes and more savings for medical school.
So a lot rides on this little job. I've been a little stressed with that as well as finishing school. By fall semester I will be done with my degree!! So like 5 more classes left!
While doing interviews a lot of the interviewers asked me how I relieve stress in my life. I of course say,
I run to my heart's content. I cook like no tomorrow. and....
I watch Deadliest Catch :)

I don't know why this show is so addicting. It's actually kinda lame, that I'm just watching a bunch of grumpy old men fishing for crab. But to me, it's so freaking cool. I mean, it is the most dangerous job in the world (it's true) and it's just addicting.

I also have been watching these fun flicks while studying, job hunting, cooking, cleaning, etc.

The office just kills me...

Modern family is a new flick that my friend introduced me too, it has the funniest characters and I love a show that makes me laugh!

I've always just loved How i Met Your Mother. It kind of has it's ups and downs, meaning sometimes it can be crude and sometimes it can be sweet. So you have to be aware of that. But if your looking for a sweet, laugh your guts out show. This one is definitely a fav!

So check these out! If I ever get a sec, these are my favorites!!

Happy April Fools Day!

I grew up with 6 siblings, and some crazy fun parents. We were always pranking, teasing & joking around constantly. To this day, we still do some of the funniest things. I just love my crazy family so much.
April Fools was always a hoot. My mom would make mashed potatoes and sprinkle whipped cream, sprinkles & chocolate on top to make it look like we're eating ice cream. When we were all really little my parent's moved all us kids in different beds in the middle of the night. So when we woke up, my older brother was in the crib. My little brother was in his sister's room! We'd tape the spray nozzle on the sink so it'd spray straight in your face. & tape the toilet lid down, to make for an awkward bathroom trip... I had an awesome childhood!
Well, my family is getting older. Two of us are married, Two on a mission, One in high school, and One in Jr High. Josh & I live the farthest away from everyone. I wanted to do something fun for April Fools. So I pranked my older brother Scott (aka Skat)
This is what was posted on KSL classifieds.com...

"DARLING DOG FOR $25!!" "NEEDS A GOOD HOME, HAS TO SELL TODAY"
CONTACT SCOTT SEEGMILLER

Needless to say, he got calls & texts all morning! (I mean this puppy is pretty darn cute... hmmmm, i need a baby)
When I called him. I couldn't hold it in any longer, I told him everything, it was pretty funny. I might still wait another hour or so before removing it though... :)
Happy April Fools Day!
